appropriate that SIC." Severy-5 says, "So we have two extremes of
possibilities: outright merger on one side, and the current status quo on

agree that something in between would be best, but the question is where in

the NSS that they accept the Moon Society as a Special Interest Group for
the NSS, chartered to coordinate NSS activities related to settlement and

says, "Another thing in question is how many of our members would be
required to be members of NSS. I know Linda Push, the head of the Space
Nursing Society, and I will ask her to send me the terms and conditions of
the relationship that they established with NSS. I think we should not

Moon Society could accept all NSS members as non-voting, non-dues-paying,
non-publications-receiving associate members." Severy-5 says, "Sounds like
a good plan, Peter, although the atmosphere within NSS has changed

far as I know from NSS chapter rules, you need 3 members of the
organization to be NSS members... however, that may include the officers."

redefinition of Outposts. Not just someone who wants to be a chapter
contact, but anyone who either is to far from a listed chapter, or in the
boondocks where a chapter would be unviable, or who prefers to work alone,
BUT who wants to do something to help, such as public outreach, making
his/her own displays or speaking or writing or helping in other ways. This
came to me when I met member Kenneth Murphy of Plano, TX, who has on his
own made a great display table setup - he did not realize that the North
Texas chapter was in his area. I will get him connected. But what he did on
his own, and the validity of that approach is what impressed me. Let's
empower individuals with status and give them resources (hook them up to
